Earlier this year I worked with choreographer Toby Norman-Wright and young dancers from refleX youth group at Dance eXchange, Birmingham, on a film with interactive light costumes. We worked in the dark for 3 days, with the only light source being the neon costumes!
I based the designs on the fibonacci sequence and Toby’s choreography was inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvain Man.
In pre and post production I worked with composer Nick Burge, who created an original soundscape using colour tracking, which complemented the layered style of editing.
